Quick SLC Trip Again?!

We decided to head to SLC for a Dr. appointment. We have not had great success with WY health care. Boston had been through 1 1/2 rounds of antibiotics trying to recover from tonsillitis and double ear infections. I could see that he still had white patches on his tonsils and his WY Dr was out of the office for the day. Also she had mentioned possibly taking his tonsils out for repeated ear infections, and I wanted a second opinion. He University of Utah Dr said his ears looked better and that his tonsils might be a virus. He also said he would not remove his tonsils at this point. Since then Bos' tonsils have almost cleared up.

Since we were nearby Spencer decided he NEEDED to go to the motorcycle store. Boston loved "driving" all the machines. As we carried him out kicking and screaming I told the horrified salesmen, "Don't worry he'll be back in 13 years."

Then we decided we needed to have some fun before we headed back. WE were going to go to the Children's Museum but it closed soon after we got to the Gateway. So we decided to see the rockets and astronauts at the Planetarium.

Of course the gift shop was probably his favorite part. And his favorite part of the gift shop was a dump truck ...

Last Snow Day?

I can only hope. I know we will get another storm or two but hopefully it will only be a skiff of snow that quickly melts. It was fun to play in the warm sunshine and cold snow.

Quick Trip

We made a quick trip to SLC to go to a Jazz game. Boston has loved basketball since about the time he could talk. We decided it was time for him to be a part of a "real" game. We even rode a train to watch the game. He was excited to see the temple and cranes on our way to the game.

Wedding Day

We were happy to be in town for Amber's wedding. Boston got to be my date for the wedding dinner because Spencer was in Las Vegas for a business trip. It was a great day.

Mariachi

We enjoyed eating at a Mexican restaurant with mariachi band while in SLC. We were seated very very near the front so it was a little loud. Boston found a good use for the crayons they gave him.

Actually he loved watching the band perform. He is very interested in instruments and music right now. It was great to see some of the instruments that he has heard and seen pictures of.
