A Change of Attitude

Let the sand box days begin.

Boston has decided that he loves to ride his bike.
He is still learning how to get off his bike.  Generally he just slows down and tips over.
He always has to tell you all about how he rode up and down the street and did loopity loopers (turn arounds).  He thinks he is so tricky when he turns ib circles and does triple loopity loopers.

Oh no!

His knees are a little banged up but thanks to the knee pads his knees are not bloody.

Bostalina

Boston used to like to hide from Spencer when he came in to say good night.  Spencer would have to spend several minutes looking around the room even when it was quite obvious where he was hiding.  Now he likes to be disguised. Here he is a girl name Bostalina.  Other times he is a little man.  He uses a fake voice and tells Spencer that Boston is in another room.  Then when Spencer goes to find him he quickly takes off the disguise.  He thinks it is hilarious that he tricked Spencer.

St Patrick's Day

We had a tricky little leprechaun visit our house.  He drew on the mirror, changed the cereals all around, and built a little house.  Then he turned Boston's milk green and ate all of his yogurt.

Boston set a trap to see if we could catch him and get his gold.

But the leperchaun had a rope and was able to escape.  Before he left he wound his rope all around the house.  We may not have gotten his gold but he left a treat for Boston

Thanks for the card Great Grandma Coleman!

I am glad the leprechaun got away because we already have one tricky guy and don't need anymore silliness around here.

Boston sees leprechaun tricks all over the place.  He finds things like half full cups of water that used to be full (because we have been drinking them)  and stuff that has been moved (because we have put it away or used it) then he blames it on the leprechaun.

Outside

What a day to play outside!

He is very concerned about riding his bike.  He has never been too excited about it but he is almost hysterical about riding his bike now.  He is so afraid that he is going to be hurt and yet he trips and  falls  all the time and doesn't get hurt.  We have no idea how to make him like riding his bike.

We can't wait for warmer weather this weekend.  Hopefully we don't get 45 mile an hour winds like we've been having the last couple of weeks.

Working

Boston is the best guy on the grounds crew.  He sees them out raking and immediately asks for his rake so he can go out and help.

Ice Fishing

Boston was so excited to go ice fishing.  Spencer has gone a couple of times with out us and Boston had been asking when he could go.
He was calling to the fishes but it didn't work.  We didn't catch a thing.

Spencer loves his gear. He likes to try different color jigs with different tails at different depths.  It is quite a science for him.

The ice was incredibly smooth so it was very very slick.  Which made for great sliding in the sled but careful slow walking.

I love the tent.

Messy

I will do just about anything to pass the long afternoons.  It gets kind of boring being stuck inside day after day.  We are definitely ready for warm weather.

Tattoo Artist

I have more trouble with him drawing on things he shouldn't now then when he was 2.  Yesterday he was so excited to show me that he had written his name on the door.
