Disneyland!

The boys loved the flight.

It was a good sign to run into Goofy as soon as we entered the gates.
I love this photo of Boston.  He is so 7.  Now he is super cool and makes these awesome hand gestures and faces when he gets his picture taken.  And Louie loves making scary faces for photos.  We were always telling them, "smile NICELY."  I'm glad I have a couple of pictures with just regular smiles from the boys.

Louie was chosen for Jedi training.  They taught him how to activate his light saber and hit the left leg and then the right.  Then all the trainees got to fight Darth Vader.  When it was Louie's turn, Darth put out his hand and asked him to come to the dark side.  Much to everyone's surprise he gave him his hand and accepted.

Day #2

I was so happy that the boys liked meeting the characters.  I thought they would be shy to see them but they were excited and would run and give them hugs.  It was fun.
Louie hates the color pink because it is a girl color.  He will debate you whether something is pink if it evenly slightly possibly pink in a certain light. So, we were surprised when he wanted this "red" Dumbo.

I got trapped riding the carousel.  Rides that go around make me sick so I was planning on helping Louie and then getting off but I had to stay because he is too young to ride by himself.  It was terrible.

Boston was a little nervous about his first time on Indiana Jones.  His favorite question when he is nervous about a ride is, "Are you sure about this?" just like last trip.

We had breakfast at Goofy's kitchen one day.  Boston was hilarious when Jasmine came in.  He would not look directly at her and would hardly talk to her.  Louie was happy to eat anywhere they had "so-so" (the Lingala word for chicken).  He loves so-so more then anything else.  I tried to convince him that the meatballs in spaghetti were so-so one night so, I wouldn't have to find somewhere else to eat.  He did not believe me.

Day #3

Boston's favorite ride this trip and last was Goofy's sky school.  I was lucky enough to ride with him every time this trip because, I am "his best girl".

All wet after Grizzly Rapids. This was probably the boys second favorite ride.  Louie loves water so I think if the ride had water he loved it.

Louie's favorite ride was unquestionably Splash mountain.  He would yell out, "That was awesome!" after the drop that is in the dark.   The last time we rode I had to reach over Boston and push him back into his seat because he stood up with his arms out on the last drop.
Grandpa did a great job showing the boys around his childhood favorite part of Disneyland. The boys loved exploring the caves.
Boston really wanted Mickey Mouse ears and was so excited they had R2D2 ones.  He wore them all the time.  Even now that we are home he wears them.
Small World looked amazing with the holiday lights decorating it.  We had never seen the fireworks from Small World and did not realize that they show movie clips on the face of Small World during the fireworks.  It was fun to see.

Our last day

Boston is a pro at Astro Blasters.  Or did his score get switched with Justin's???
Can't leave without a churro.  However I did not get any pineapple ice cream so, I need to go back again soon!
Back to winter and snow.  Thanks Mom and Dad.  We had a great time in the happiest place on earth.
