Boston's Writing

Pumpkins are orange Pumkins are circle  Pumpkin on the inside has seeds and goo.  I do not like it.
Hello everyone. Today we're going to learn about baseball. I am going to write it. I like baseball and every time I get to run around. And every time I get to be safe.  Basketball my favorite team is Lakers.
I want to meet the guy that sings wuppa gangnum style and darth mal.  He is on the dark side but I like skywalker because he is on the light side and blue light saber. And blue is my favorite color.
I like Halloween because it has Jack-o-lanterns.  Because I get to carve the pumpkin a scary face and it is awesome.  I like trick or treating because it has candy and smarties or my favorite candy and Boo! for you The End

Pumpkins

The boys loved making silly pumpkins with pumpkins from grandpa's garden a week before Halloween.
Louie really loved squishing the pumpkin guts.
Boston did a great job designing and carving most of his own jack-o-lantern.

We had a great night carving pumpkins with a bunch of our friends.

Wheelbarrow Ride

Yard work is always fun with Grandpa.

Hippos

A little fun at the restaurant.  I was writing sentences for Boston to read.  After I wrote, "Boston smells like grass." he wrote "Mom smills lik rosise."  I asked what Vanessa smells like and he wrote, "Nessa smellse like hippose."  Funny boy.  He says it's because she likes hippos not because she actually smells like hippos.

Grocery Shopping

Louie was so excited to be able to ride in a car grocery cart.

Boston's first selfie

He found the camera and went crazy.  I have about 30 photos of him and his paper airplanes.

Louie's Haircut

Louie got a hold of Justin's electric shaver and gave himself a spotty haircut.
We had to shave his head.
But we didn't learn our lesson.

Socks

Louie loves socks. He was so excited to wear these socks that he folded up his pants so that everyone could see them. Spencer convinced him that instead he could just lift up his pant legs when he wanted to show someone. He wanted to make sure that everyone still saw them so he walked to the bus stop holding up his pants.

I told his preschool teachers about it and one of them said he made sure to show her his socks everyday.

I had to buy new socks for the boys since it is getting cold and when I told him they were coming in the mail he asked every morning if they were here yet. He was so excited when they came. Funny boy!

Monster Trucks

The boys were so excited to go and see the monster trucks. They enjoyed the first hour and then started to ask when it was going to be over. Boston even asked to go home because he wanted to go to bed. I thought that was a great idea so we left early.

Snow Already!!!

Boston wanted to get this year's sledding hill started. Once I convinced him that the snow would melt in a couple of days he decided instead to build a snowman.

Color me ...

I LOVE MY SISTER! She is the greatest.

Our group. My away from home family Lexi, Megan and Karen were brave enough to join Vanessa, Justin and me.

We brought some color bombs back for the boys to play with. What a mess but, they loved it.

Happy Birthday!

Vanessa did an amazing job making a photo memory walk for my dad's birthday. It was a great way to teach the kids a little bit about their grandpa.

Then we went and played miniature golf because my dad once worked at a miniature golf course.

We ate a Japanese restaraunt because my dad served a mission in Japan.

Got to love

Got to love a bike ride and a sunset like this.

May School Work

Better late then never!

I like the polar bear (book) because it has information.  I love that he used the word information even though it is a big word and would have been a challenge to sound out.

I love spring.
I love to play outside.
Spring is my favorite month.
