I like the polar bear (book) because it has information.  I love that he used the word information even though it is a big word and would have been a challenge to sound out.

First Day

Boston wanted to stay home the first day of school so that he could have one  more day with me.  He is such a sweet boy.  He is loving first grade.  His teacher says that she listed him as the "student to count on" in her sub plans.  

Louie was so excited to go to school just like Boston but a little disappointed that he didn't get to ride the bus or eat lunch at school.

School wore him out so much that he fell asleep on the floor right before I came to get him.  I had to carry him up 2 flights of stairs.  When I got to the top all out of breath the secretary informed me they had an elevator. 

Truck

The boys enjoyed going for a ride in our friends truck.  The best part was listening to the radio and honking the horn.  Boston was amazed that there was no air conditioner.

We've been able to take a lot of trips to SLC this summer.  This time we went to the dinosaur park and airport #2 to check out the helicopters.

We went bowling with some of the Turkish students.  They are great friends and take great care of the boys.

Tanner loves bowling so, we usually squeeze in a quick game when we are there.  Boston is getting so that he wants to bowl himself without the ramp.
